Prof. Li Guo

Hunan University, China



Profile: In 1994, he graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University. Since 1994, he has served as a professor in Hunan University, China, and his teaching level is excellent. He has been a Visiting scholar researcher in American universities and Universities in the United Kingdom for three years. I have led and completed more than 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and major China national science and technology special projects. I have also led and completed more than 20 scientific and technological research projects in Hunan Province and the Ministry of Education,China. Published over 100 high-level academic papers in domestic and international academic journals, with over 50 papers included in EI/SCI. 8 authorized invention patents. He is the academic backbone of Hunan University and China's national science and technology expert. He is an expert in monitoring the quality of graduate education in China, and the vice Chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Society of Changsha City, Hunan Province, China.

Profile: Dr. Yongsheng Ma has joined Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in Shenzhen, China since July, 2021 as a full professor. Before that, Dr. Ma had been a full professor with the University of Alberta (UA) since 2007. He was an associate professor with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore during 2000-2007. Dr. Ma started his career as a polytechnic lecturer in Singapore (1993-1996); and then a research fellow, senior research fellow and group manager (1996-2000) at Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology.Dr. Ma published more than 200 papers internationally in recognized top journals, conferences, and book chapters. Dr. Ma had served as an Editorial Board Member of Advanced Engineering Informatics (ADVEI, Elsevier) since 2012, and became an associate editor since 2020. Concurrently, he also serves as an associate editor for ASME Journal of Computer Information Science and Engineering (JCISE), and an Editorial Member of Scientific Reports (Springer Nature). In 2012, he won the prestigious ASTech award sponsored by The Alberta Science and Technology Leadership Foundation together with Drader Manufacturing Ltd. Dr. Ma had also served as a senator of UA during 2014-2016.

Profile: Assoc. Prof. GHAMGEEN IZAT RASHED, postgraduate tutor of School of Electrical and Automation, Wuhan University. Research interests: application of artificial intelligence in power system, reliability of power system and smart grid. He has published more than 50 SCI and EI papers in core journals and international conferences, participated in more than 30 high-level international academic conferences and delivered keynote speeches. Member of IEEE and CIGRE, presiding over 5 international exchange projects, participating in 13 horizontal projects and 1 863 project. Presided over 5 excellent courses at the school level.

Prof. Samir Ladaci

Automatics & Control Engineering chez Ecole Nationale Polytechnique (ENP) , Algeria

Experience: 

Prof. Samir Ladaci (IEEE Member) received the State Engineer degree in Automatics from the Polytechnic School of Algiers in 1995 and the Magister degree in Industrial Automation from Annaba University, Algeria in 1999. He received my Ph.D. and HDR degree (Habilitation à diriger les Recherches) from the department of Electronics, Mentouri University of Constantine, Algeria in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Part of my doctoral researches were done during a long sojourn from September 2006 to July 2008 at IRCCyN Laboratory, Nantes, France (now the LS2N Laboratory).

From 2001 to 2013, He was an assistant professor and then associate professor (Maître de conférence 'A') at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Skikda University, Algeria.

On December 1rst, 2013, Prof. Samir joined the National Polytechnic School of Constantine.

Prof. Samir Ladaci authored more than 120 papers in indexed journals and international conference proceedings and coauthored a Book and many book chapters, and he also supervised many PhD theses (6 are already defended).

Prof. Samir current research interests include Fractional order Systems and Control, Fractional Adaptive Control, Robust Control, Fractional order chaotic systems, Optimization, Identification, Renewable Energy systems and Industrial applications.

Prof. Chunbo Xiu

Tiangong University, China

Experience: 

He is Professor of School of Control Science and Engineering, Tiangong University, China. Professor Xiu received the Ph.D. degree in Navigation, Guidance and Control from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2005. He received the B.S. degree in automatic control from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2000. He has published over 100 papers and authorized 20 patents. He has completed one National Nature Science Foundation and two Foundations supported by Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Bureau. His research interests include intelligent control, sliding mode control, neural networks, system modeling, and deep learning.

Assoc. Prof. Xiaogang Liu

Wuhan University of Technology, China

Experience: 

Xiaogang Liu acquired his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Queensland, Australia, and is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology. He has chaired two scientific research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and his academic outputs include academic papers, invention patents and software copyrights in the fields of Contact Mechanics, Intelligent Manufacturing, Mechanical Vibration and Electromechanical Control etc. As the leader of a provincial teaching and research project about mechanical manufacturing, he summarised these academic outputs into monographs to integrate research and education, and was recognized as Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Currently, he is an assessment expert of the national Natural Science Foundation of China, a senior member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, an expert of the high-tech industry in Wuhan, and was awarded the “T A Stewart-Dyer Prize/Frederick Harvey Trevithick Prize” by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in London.
